Presona Work Environment Policy

It is in the interest of PRESONA AB that our working environment should be both safe and stimulating whilst at the same time ensuring that the company maintains high quality production and is run in accordance with business management principles. A good working environment which is orderly and worker-friendly is of great importance for us and is entirely in our company’s interests.

The working environment should not simply be safe - it should also be pleasant and nurturing for employees and should furthermore allow them scope for influencing it for the better.

The company’s objective is to create a work environment of a standard which exceeds the minimum requirements which the authorities may impose by way of legislation and regulation.

Managers and supervisors shall be responsible for those aspects of the working environment which are directly affected by the various decisions which they make. It is up to them, within the limits of their competence, to create a good working environment, and to inform their immediate superiors when those limits are exceeded.

All employees should assume personal responsibility for the work environment in their daily routine. Everyone is expected not only to follow instructions and procedures which are laid down for them but also to watch out for, and immediately report, any risks which threaten a good working environment. When there are interruptions to operations, care for the environment should be prioritised.

Each employee must keep the workplace tidy so that materials, tools, and waste do not interfere with operations or pose accident or fire risks.

Before decisions are taken on new investments, new construction or alterations or on any other changes in the company, work environment questions should always be discussed, risks examined and consequences evaluated in co-operation with the employees. Measures should be taken to guard against any negative effects and to minimise potential risks for as long as possible into the future.

The Board of Directors shall deal with all aspects of adaptation and rehabilitation within the company as well as any consequences arising from the work environment such as absence due to illness and occupational injuries, and it shall also deal with matters relating to physical fitness.
